Article Title

ABOUT US

Willem Maas created GreenHomeGuide to provide reliable advice, inspiration, and solutions to busy adults who want a healthier, greener home.

GreenHomeGuide is a trusted, community-based resource whose combination of tips, case studies, expert Q&A articles and metro directories of products and services has helped millions of homeowners create homes that make them feel good.

As in an old-fashioned barn-raising, experts and novices come together on GreenHomeGuide. We cover the spectrum, from publishing the story of Los Angeles schoolteacher Angela Marino’s safe, healthy nursery to interviewing scientist Al Hodgson about the effects of paint on indoor air quality. Likewise, we take a community approach to our product directories, combining the recommendations of green architects, builders, designers and other building professionals with real-world reviews anyone can write—because the experts don’t know everything!

To encourage the broadest possible community participation, the content on GreenHomeGuide is free. Businesses that meet GreenHomeGuide’s publication standards advertise in our directories and sponsor our Know-How editorial topics.

A Vision For Better Homes

GreenHomeGuide believes we can improve the environment and make our homes safe, comfortable and rejuvenating at the same time. By choosing green alternatives to conventional building, cleaning, pest control and landscaping, we discover that we can have more, not less. Our homes can be better designed and more attractive; warmer and brighter in the winter and cooler in the summer. They can also offer us more of the well-being and comfort that we need and seek. And with better homes, we move one step closer to creating a better planet.

Directory Sponsor Package for Retailers

The Directory Sponsor Package is designed for retailers who want 5 to 10 times the visibility of a standard Enhanced Listing. This package combines Directory Sponsorship with an Enhanced Listing.

The Directory Sponsor Package costs $1,460 per year and includes these benefits:

Business Card Logo or Ad
GreenHomeGuide delivers more than 100,000 pageviews each month. Your ad or logo will be prominently displayed in front of this large and growing audience of green homeowners. Sponsorships can link to either your own website or your GreenHomeGuide Enhanced Listing.

5-10X Visibility
Sponsors select a product, service, or retailer category. For example, in the Retailer directory, a sponsor could choose the Flooring category. As a prospective buyer browses the Flooring category, the sponsor's logo would appear over and over in the high profile left margin –

The sponsor's logo would be rotated into the Retailers super-category as well.

Limited Availability
No more than five sponsors will be allowed per category to preserve the visibility impact of Sponsorship.

Enhanced Listing Included
This package includes all the benefits of an Enhanced Listing.

Co-Op Advertising Option
